VII. Activity Descriptions:
Cultural People-to-People Diplomacy is the best way to promote interactions among citizen. Due to the lack of formal channels of diplomacy, people-to-people diplomacy has become an important channel for Taiwan to have its voice and exert its influence in the international society. Taiwan has many experiences in participating in or organizing many cultural NGOs’ activities, which has assisted Taiwan to promoting its people-to-people diplomacy. Moreover, it will help Taiwan’s current effort to promote the cultural innovative industry and market its traditional cultural worldwide.
It is important for Taiwan to participate in international cultural activity. When Taiwan wants to take part in different kinds of international events for exchanges or cooperation, the assistance from specialized people and volunteer workers are necessary. This project aims to train more specialized people for international cultural exchanges.
